Welcome! My name is Ali Hein. I teach art to high school students over the Great Western ITV (Interactive Television) Network. This is my third year of teaching, and I am excited to continue learning and growing as an educator.I graduated from North Dakota State University in 2009 with a Bachelor in Fine Arts degree. I currently hold an alternate access teaching license that allows me to teach while attending college to obtain my education credits. I am taking online classes through Valley City State University to obtain my full teaching license. I will also be teaching two drawing courses at Bismarck State College this fall.
In my spare time, I enjoy creating my own paintings and drawings and trying out new art media. My favorite media are oil paint and charcoal, although I am always up for experimenting with new materials. I also enjoy being outdoors. My husband and I love camping, playing with our dog, and raising our three chickens. I look forward to getting to know my students and creating with them!
